Ivy and I met our freshman year at Auburn through a mutual friend group, and we ended up being roommates for the rest of our time in college—so I’ve had the joy of knowing her for 9 years now! If I had to sum myself up in three words, I’d go with thoughtful, nerdy, and dependable—which fits right in with my symbol, the 🚗 car. I’m always on the move, training for a half-marathon, and always down for a road trip (especially if it means dressing up or doing something cool outdoors!), but no matter where the road takes me, I always end up right where I need to be.

Around family and friends, I’m known for being that go-to, dependable friend who is always up for a wild adventure or a spontaneous road trip.

One of my favorite memories with Ivy and Jordan was heading to the St. Louis Gateway Arch together in full cosplay—because with them, even the most unexpected moments turn into unforgettable fun!

Kayla brings a peace that settles every nervous heart. Her loyalty is fierce and her kindness is effortless. She has walked through every chapter with grace and grit. "True friends are never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart."

I’m Ivy’s stepsister! My mom and her dad tied the knot about seven years ago, and having them all in my life has been the absolute best. If I had to sum myself up in two words, I’d go with adventurous and loyal—which is why my symbol is a ✈️ plane. I’m always down to take off for a new adventure, whether that means exploring new scenery, soaking in new cultures, or hunting down the best local food!

Around family and friends, I’m pretty much known for golf. I actually played D1 golf in college, and I still love getting out on the course for fun or hitting up charity tournaments whenever I can.

Adding Jordan to our family circle has been amazing—and let me tell you, our family debates are never boring. One of my favorite memories is watching him and Ivy completely obliterate everyone at family trivia night on vacation a couple of years ago. They were a total powerhouse team!

I’m Jordan’s older brother, so I’ve known him his whole life and Ivy for as long as they’ve been together! If I had to sum myself up, I’d say I’m strictly fun-loving—which fits right in with my symbol, the heart hands. I’m all about showing love, bringing good energy, and holding down my family.

Among family and friends, I’m pretty much known as the Sibling Leader—even if, fun fact, I happen to be the shortest guy in the family!

Since I’ve lived in Dallas the whole time they’ve been dating and we’re both notoriously terrible at texting and calling, getting quality time together means a lot. One memory that always makes me smile was helping them move houses just down the street in Shreveport. Getting to hang out with them solo, help out, and just talk through what’s next for their future was awesome.

One of my absolute favorite memories with them was the time we spent together traveling in Colombia and Mexico, just hanging out and chatting about life. It’s a memory that always makes me smile.

Met Ivy in an English class at Auburn, where an instant friendship was sparked through everything from vibrant college parties to navigating tough moments together.

Jordan entered the picture in class shortly after, and their friendship took off through endless, spirited political debates.

Known among friends as a jovial, comic-loving political nerd with an extensive gaming collection, this nine-year bond has brought endless laughter and steady camaraderie. One unforgettable highlight remains celebrating Ivy’s iconic 21st birthday!

Well, from the opening salutation, I’m certain you can sense I’m not an outsider.

Jordan has taught me the value of grace, hard work, and being true to oneself without compromise. My son has taught me the power of a good name. His word is his bond, and his quiet love for his family is unwavering.

I recall the day when I was returning home from rehab. I wasn’t able to walk on my own at that time due to my injuries. I hadn’t heard much from Jordan then (as is his sometimes quiet way).

The family arrived in the minivan to pick me up from the hospital, as arranged, and we had to figure out how I'd get in and out of the van when we arrived home. But here comes Jordan—he had it all figured out. All went incredibly well.

I thought to myself, that’s my son, always two steps ahead when I least expect it—I’ve grown to expect it. He’s taught me so much more than that, of course, but that was one of my favorite testimonies of the great young man he has become. He leads by example in all things.

I’m proud to be the dad who walks in his son’s shadow. Even now, he continues to show his wisdom—he chose Ivy as his betrothed forever. Oh, by the way, my symbol is the Bible—it breathes life, truth, and grace into every circumstance. 2 Timothy 3:16
